What Your Child Experiences Each Day

Every part of our preschool experience is thoughtfully designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Curriculum

Learning through play is at the heart of our educational approach. We intentionally engage children in meaningful, hands-on experiences that make learning joyful, interactive, and developmentally appropriate across the following subject areas:

  • Language Arts and Literacy
  • Math
  • Science, Technology, and Engineering
  • Social Studies and History
  • Art

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our curriculum is thoughtfully aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for PreK, ensuring a strong foundation that supports both curiosity and school readiness.

Our play-based learning is further enriched through the use of high-quality curriculum resources, including:

  • Scholastic My Big World
  • Lively Letters
  • Heggerty
  • Handwriting Without Tears
  • Slumberkins

Purposeful Play and Recess

Learning Through Movement & Play

We offer an acre and a half of outdoor space where children move, explore, and build physical confidence through joyful, developmentally appropriate play. Purposeful play and recess take place outdoors whenever weather and temperature allow.

Indoors, our thoughtfully designed spaces support the whole child. Each area encourages positive physical, social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and moral development, providing children with opportunities to learn, connect, and grow throughout the day.

The Benefits of Play-Based Learning

Play is the foundation of how young children learn best. Through play, children:

  • Increase their level of physical activity
  • Strengthen memory, attention, and concentration
  • Develop social and emotional skills
  • Build executive function, content knowledge, and creative thinking
  • Form meaningful connections to the world around them
  • Expand their thinking and gain confidence trying new things

Preschool Provocations and Centers

Guided play is the foundation of our play-based learning approach. It preserves the joy and freedom of play while intentionally supporting children as they make meaningful connections to new ideas and skills. Activities are child-directed and thoughtfully facilitated by teachers.

We support children’s learning by intentionally designing engaging environments that:

  • Provoke exploration
  • Promote discovery
  • Encourage progress toward learning goals

Our teachers extend learning through purposeful questions and the use of open-ended materials such as loose parts, wooden blocks, dramatic play props, and sensory tables. These experiences foster:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Communication and collaboration
  • Confidence and self-expression

"Play is not a serious break from learning, play is learning."

2026 - 2027 Preschool Tuition

Choose a schedule that fits your needs perfectly.

Tuition is thoughtfully prorated into predictable monthly payments to make budgeting simple for families.

Full Day Programs Days in School Year Monthly Tuition
2-Day Program: Tuesday & Thursday 75 Days $562.50
3-Day Program: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 105 Days $787.50
5-Day Program: Monday through Friday 180 Days $1350

How Tuition Works

Tuition is calculated based on the number of school days in session and is evenly prorated into 10 monthly payments (September–June) to help families budget with ease.

The cost per school day is $75. Monthly tuition remains the same regardless of individual absences. Families do not pay for school breaks, including federal holidays, Thanksgiving break, Christmas vacation, February vacation, and April vacation, in alignment with the Billerica Public School System calendar.
